Back in November 2018, Hobut announced the acquisition of British Core Manufacturer, Unicores Limited which will help to secure and enhance our supply chain. This was in addition to the significant recent investment to our production facilities which also included the recruitment of highly skilled engineers.
As part of our ongoing commitment to British Manufacturing – innovation, vision and strategy are of great importance to Hobut – and we are delighted to give you a sneak preview of our dedicated, new Raw Material Storage facility in Walsall.
The storage centre, which is situated just 0.5 miles away from our main UK factory in Lincoln Road, Walsall has the capacity to hold 400 pallets of Raw Material which, due its location is the ideal placement for ensuring continuity of supply.
As you can see by the pictures, refurbishment is well underway at the centre, and we are expecting the doors to be opened by the middle of April 2019.
The investment in this new facility has been made to streamline storage which will also see the introduction of a new IT infrastructure to support growth.
